I’ve started a new band: Cannibal Movie.
Cannibal Movie is a sub genre of exploitation films made mostly by Italian filmmakers through the 1970s and 1980s. This sub genre is a collection of graphically gory movies that usually depict cannibalism by primitive, Stone-age natives deep inside the Asian or South American rain forests.
Cannibal Movie is also the name of my new band; we play drums and an old italian organ and our sound is a mix of obscure psychedelia, hypnotic tribalism and ecstatic magic tunes.
Our debut album “AVORIO” is now out for the good Sound of Cobra Records, a new Italian label led by Ricky from the band In Zaire.

Vi annuncio la nascita di un mio nuovo progetto:Cannibal Movie.
Cannibal Movie è un duo che fa rivivere nella propria musica l’immaginario cinematografico di quei registi italiani che fra i 70 e gli 80 rivoluzionarono il cinema di genere spostando i set delle loro creature orrorifiche alla luce del sole e in suggestive ambientazioni esotiche, in foreste pluviali asiatiche o sudamericane.
Un vecchio organo italiano ed un batteria sono sufficienti a ricreare la crudeltà e la luminosità di sequenze di inaudita violenza, sesso, avventura, in una rappresentazione della morte più viva e colorata che mai.
Il debut album dei Cannibal Movie“AVORIO” è da ora disponibile su Sound of Cobra Records, etichetta gestita da Ricky degli In Zaire (con in programma dischi di Hell Shovel, Orfanado, Embryo, The Psychic Paramount...).
