FULkANELLI is a mystery of the italian subterranean schemed by the Pickman Paolo
Vulkan Mongardi (Jennifer Gentle, ZEUS!, Ronin, Fuzz Orchestra) and by the Grand
Master of the 6 strings - as well as the 7 point green - Kristian Helio Naldi.
The pursued Solution trasmutes wood and electricity into gold. Thus restoring the Music
Matter corruption. Process techniques dig into atavic improvisation, revealing in a brew,
result of unrhythms, inviolable circles, sulphur harmonies, ethereal rings, celestial
polyrhythms, catalysing powder, fruit of a morbid interplay, super- and under- Natural.

FULkANELLI è un mistero del sottosuolo imolese architettato dal Picconatore Paolo VulKan Mongardi (Jennifer Gentle, ZEUS!, il Genio, Ronin, Fuzz Orchestra) e dal Gran Mastro della 6 corde – nonché della verde 7 punte – Kristian Helio Naldi.

La Soluzione ricercata trasmuta legno ed elettricità in oro, risanando così la corruzione della Materia Musicale. Le tecniche del procedimento affondano nellʼimprovvisazione atavica, palesandosi in una brodaglia esito di aritmie, circoli inviolabili, armonie sulfuree, anelli eterei, polimetrie celesti, polveri catalizzanti, frutto dʼun interplay morboso, sopra e sotto il Naturale.

Lʼalba di questo cimento sorge grazie ad uno split-tape diviso col sassofonista russo Belokurov VS Marziano (Hiroshima Rocks Around), prodotto da Lemming Records/Hysm? e splenderà nuovamente in una serie limitata di 100 esemplari in acciaio puro contenenti altrettanti CDr in pura plastica nera, questa volta per mano di Lemming Rec, OFFSET Rec, Blinde Proteus Rec.

" È il nostro sesto disco, ma era dal 2009 che non pubblicavamo un disco serio. Lo abbiamo cominciato in Puglia e finito a casa, a San Colombano. L’ingegnere del suono è Fabio Magistrali, che è stato più che un fonico: ci ha dato da mangiare, ci ha ascoltati, ci ha insultati, ha detto la sua e dato un sacco di idee (ultima ma non ultima quella dell’albero senza tronco in copertina – ah, la foto di copertina è di Davide Maione).  Dentro GREEN TUBA (cento punti  a chi indovina cos’è una green tuba) ci sono i soliti nostri ingredienti, ma cucinati con più cura del solito, e pure una sezione fiati. Il lato A è quello rock, il lato B pop e psichedelico. Se ascolti il Cd e vuoi cominciare dal lato B, skippa fino alla traccia 11. Se cerchi un singolo, ascolta “Mi sento solo”. Se cerchi una pseudo-cover dei Camillas, ascolta “Picante”. Se cerchi grane, hai sbagliato gruppo. That’s what FoxyDigitalis wrote about the tape edition of the same album:

Incredibly promising debut release from Italian organ and drums duo, Cannibal Movie…Cannibal Movie deal in heavy hypno-psych pound, with plenty of ability to conjure suspense and swing no less. It’s as if Religious Knives went batshit crazy, ate their guitarist, and continued on as a band. The first track, “Teste Mozzate,” boldly introduces the core CM sound: Wah’d-out, effects-heavy organ and repetitive tom-heavy drum patterns with enough cymbal crashes to sound like a demented marching band parading through hell. But there is still quite a bit of variation spread out over the remaining four tracks on this cassette. The following “Fame” works through a more up-tempo percussive pound with sustained and overdriven organ drones, while “Mangiati Vivi!” breaks the spell of those prior hypnotic numbers with a swampy, unidentifiable southern hemisphere melodic swing that highlights that there is much more up this duo’s collective sleeve. On the flip side, “Django” works along similar lines as the opening track, but it develops with a more crazed energy, along with multiple shifts and layers of psychedelicized organ that would have left Mr. Reinhardt thoroughly confused. The tape closes with the slow burn of “Schiave Bianche” that has a nice come down effect after taking in the rest of Avorio. It’s some very tasty stuff. Bring on the next course!!
